The only thing that concerns me about this manifold is the inlet openings are a bit smaller and different shaped
That's what a die grinder is for...

Installing that manifold as it is now would significantly affect gas flow and increase turbulence, which would likely affect the power gains you are looking for.
I have ported many heads/manifolds over the years; it's not that hard, but it can take a bit of time. Just make sure you are monitoring the wall thicknesses.
If wall thickness was going to be an issue on the manifold, adding a spacer plate between the head and the manifold would be another option, as you could deal with the shape transfers in that. You may also have to change the studs for longer ones, but that's a pretty simple task.
If I were going down that route I would laser cut the holes in the spacer to match the manifold, then grind out the opposite side to match the holes in the head.
