I paid for my camper before I ever saw it in person. I liked that they offered a full refund for any reason until the time that they contact you and verify your order. I went to Wenatchee and saw the camper in person and Kyle spent as much time as I wanted to answer any questions I had. One thing I really was concerned about what would happen if they make updates after I ordered. Kyle has made so many updates and the price is still the same. They were very open to suggestions from customers and I’ve been camping and off roading for many years and i have researched all the other similar set ups and not one of them are less expensive and of same quality. Sure any manufacturer can improve their products but at what price? Why would i wait possibly a year? Having started 2 businesses myself, it takes so long to get things going and with the state of supply chain problems a year isn’t that long. Do I wish I had mine now, yes and I can’t wait. Btw I’m not any way associated with Lone Peak.

Should be no issue doing that at all. Their website says you can connect it to a portable power station. I use a jackery 1000 to power my AT Summit. I have a pigtailed wired to the fuse block and then plug it into the jackerys 12v output. It powers everything from the truma heater to the fan lights and usbs. Works great.
One thing I forgot that Kyle said that the input voltage cant be higher than 15 volts or it will harm the juice box. Refer to Lonepeak overland YouTube video “customer walk through”.
I just noticed that you have a 2018 Nissan titan pro4x. Not to many of us around. How has your truck handled the A/T, with the extra weight and all? I had a OVS RTT and Yakima racks, a rigid solar panel mounted over the cab and a custom built bed slide. I had 10 gallons of fuel and 10 to 15 gallons of water and 2-1/2 gallons of propane plus the other all the other accessories and gear. I put on full set of custom steel skid plates, sumo bump stops and a hellwig sway bar. My truck fully loaded gets between 19-21 mpg no matter where I go. It handles so nice with the sway bar added.

I remember hearing something about that as well. I suppose I can just measure what the voltage output of a fully charged power station is and if it’s under 15v I should be good.
I have mine connected to a Goal Zero 1500X with no issues. I simply wired a Anderson Plug connector to the Juice Box cable.

First of all I love the truck. After having nothing but Toyotas for 25 years I've been super happy with the Nissan. My favorite truck so far. It handles the AT Summit great. The stock suspension was totally fine for the topper and associated camp gear. Outside of the topper the truck is stock. I did add some RAS (Road Active Suspension) to help when towing our travel trailer. Love the RAS. The truck rides level when towing even with the addition of the 400lbs tongue weight.

Digging that diesel heater setup. You guys are giving me some great ideas. Lots of things to think about. Hoping I get my camper by June. I can’t wait! Only about 280 more order numbers ahead of me 🤪

The heater itself works great, and quickly got the camper toasty inside. My only complaint with the setup had to do with my positioning of the heater. The exhaust pipe was directly underneath the condensation vent on the tent, and this allowed fumes to slowly work their way inside. Before the next trip I’ll make a proper bracket that moves the heater out further away from the tent, and I’ll add a longer heat hose allowing me to move it more forward on the camper.

Neither are fancy by any means, but they were cheap, quick, and effective. I regretted not getting the fold down table with my GearVault. At the time I assumed it would be too low with use of the DECKED. After everything was put together I realized the height of the table would still be beneficial, and decided to put my own together. A couple fold down brackets, and a 24” shelf top made for a $30 solution that works well. Doing it over again I’d order the factory option, but I’m not upset at this one.
I’ve been struggling with a water solution that doesn’t take up too much room, but still has enough capacity. I don’t need a ton of capacity, but wanted enough to wash off dishes quickly when needed or a quick rinse if we had an extra nasty day. I ended up snagging 3 - 6 gallon water jugs that will fill that roll nicely. For most trips 2 will be sufficient, but I’ll have the option to throw a 3rd in the truck if I foresee needing it. I built a quick bracket out of angle iron, and bolted it to the T track at the bottom of the camper. With the DECKED in place it made the height perfect, and was able to use the T track to bolt the bracket to as well as strap the jugs in place with.
This evening I’m going to wire in my DC/DC charger, and at that point this should be about as complete as it’s going to get. I still use my truck for truck stuff, and need the open bed space that’s left. Both a savior and a curse. It keeps me from completing a full build out and on the upside it also keeps me from completing a full buildout lol

It’d be nice to hear from some members in terms of orders being fulfilled, though I doubt it’ll be much reassurance. Last update they posted said their goal was 2 campers a day, I don’t understand how that would in any way be a pace that’d satisfy an appropriate amount of orders.
If @1titanfan is #248 and hoping for March, I’ll be getting mine in 2026 if not 2027 if I’m at #1517.
52 weeks x 5 days (I’m sure they’re not working weekends) x 2 campers a day is 520 campers a year. Yikes. Pretty depressing.
They haven’t updated the expected date for orders on their website since I ordered before Christmas, still says new orders expected in August. I’m hoping this doesn’t turn into a situation similar to what happened at Vagabond.
Edit, looks like they changed it to September since yesterday.
How is that in any way realistic?
