My New American Built Adrenalin Rush - Preview and Review

Trip into Adams Lake convinces me of the Adrenalines capability.

It did great getting up there. Of course we didn't have the rain and mud to contend with like you did a few weeks later. I put together a little video with the help of a couple other Book Cliff Cruiser club members showing the basic setup and some of the features of the camper. Enjoy!

Also, I just wanted to make a quick comment about Adrenalin's communication with their customers after reading a couple of threads about another trailer manufacturer and their customer service. My experience has been great with Ric (Owner). 90% of the time when I call the company he answers the phone. He has been willing and able to spend as much time talking to me about any questions. He always kept me informed on the progress of the build and delivery date and let me know if there was going to be any delay. When I did have a minor issue (bad zipper on one of the canvas pieces). he replaced it promptly and with no questions asked. The only minor complaint I would have to say I've had with the whole experience was the slow speed of getting all of the paperwork to me, however, being the first customer, I expected as much. IMO the quality and integrity of the company selling you a product is as important as the quality of the product itself. Adrenalin has both.

Here are a few photos from camping near Blue Mesa Res. this weekend. No wheeling but the camper proved to work well as a kayak hauler. I installed an Airlift 1000 kit on my truck just prior to the trip and was extremely happy with the results. The tongue weight of the camper is significant and my truck is already overloaded so even the Slee Heavy springs are not enough to keep the front end from becoming squirreley under acceleration. The airbags (ran at 25psi) completely resolved the issue. We used the additional room for the first time. Took about half an hour to set it up and provided a nice dry (we got a bit of rain) place for a second family of 4 to stay.

These trailers are awesome. And it makes me miss living in Montrose and boondocking all over the Uncompahgre plateau as a kid.

By the way - I totally spelled that right the first time (I googled it)

Some around here call it the "Unpronoucable".

With all that space on the lake shore, you couldn't find any way to miss driving over that big rock???
J/K! Nice pictures, by the way. I really enjoyed my trip out in that area two summers ago, and hope to go back sometime soon.
I didn't have my Jumping Jack trailer then, but do now, so it should be a great trip when I go back.

I got to check these out today at the Off-Road Expo, really nice! My son tried to convince my wife at dinner that we should get one since it has a "stone" floor that she'd like. :) (I've trained him well)

Down at K-Fab today and saw four raw Adrenalin frames stacked up. Man, those look beefy. Some parts where 1/2" thick plate!

Great looking trailer!!!

I'm 100% satisfied so far. Will you be at Cruise Moab or the FJ Summit? I will have it at bit events. I met you at OX12 briefly. They were a vendor and I think they will be back. Not sure if I can meek that one but had a great time last year.

looking for a pneumatic tire for the front tongue jack. is yours anything special, or is it a wheelbarrow or hand truck unit? my hard plastic wheel is a PITA.

nice looking system there-- a tad too heavy for me-- not likely rubicon friendly...

The jockey wheel is fine, nothing to write home about. It's an imported part from Au. I've bent mine several times because it hangs too low. When going through a ditch or other low spot it drags. I would much rather have a removable wheel. You can move the trailer on a hard surface but on dirt, forget it.

The trailer is not rubicon friendly for sure, and tight switchbacks are an issue. That said it goes 90% of the places I do an is a lot more feature packed than some more aggressive designs. Great family hauler.
