My 2000 XJ Daily Driver build up

Recent run to Broken Arrow

An older image prior to raising it 2.5". Bungies holding the sway bar up.
IMG_4859-Copy.jpg

My current configuration is:
Rusty's 4.5" springs F/R.
6 deg wedges
2" Shackles and 2" spacers. RC Shackle Relocation Brackets to be installed.
SYE
Woods Shafts
Earls extended brake lines
RE Track bar
Short arm that was one the vehicle when I got it. Rancho?
Sliders I built
Misc other.....

I will be doing a long arm upgrade, gears, lockers, 33" tires, front bumper and tire carrier. I'm not in a hurry as the current setup gets me where I want to go pretty easily.

It is my daily driver so if I wreck it I'm screwed.

What's up Rich?..... That is the nicest XJ I've ever seen.... You forgot to list the Lowrance unit.

Thanks! Just started lurking on this site, have been doing a lot of back country stuff, less rock crawling. Kim and I just ordered a Four Wheel Camper for the SuperDuty so we can do a lot more camping in all weather conditions.

You happen to have anymore pics of the platform. I've been looking around for a design but I have not come across any.

just picked her up recently, havent even thrown on new tires yet.

1988 xj pioneer, 140K original on it, almost no rust.

currently on it...
Air Shocks
Emergency lighting(code 3 pse 6100, galls deluxe headlight flasher)
siren(galls controller, carson speaker)

was going to buy a small bds lift from buddy that included shocks for $150(3", he won it but already has a 4.5") and my radiator decided to crap out on a 110 degree record breaker a week or so ago, upgraded to a new csf 3 row aluminum radiator which im installing as soon as i post this.

plan to do skid plates, the lift, some decent a/t or m/t, snorkel, axle swap,bumpers/winch, sliders and electrical mods...not going to do extreme trails that demand body damage...i just like to minimize potential for breakage.

here it is a few days after picking up.(yes ive taken off the hideous side steps!)

Nice job on the TJ flares.

Usually when people use TJ flares they rush the install and it doesn't wind up looking very good at all; but your install looks almost factory. The use of rear TJ flares on the front really helps too: you don't have double side marker lights. Well done!
