In reality we pretty much knew I was going to get stuck. All part of the plan. The water was not very deep, but the mud below was.

What was the whole plan?

The plan was to get stuck so we could practice with kinetic rope recovery. If he made it then gravy. As you can see, we needed to do the recovery. We all won in the end.

It's not leaking. It's making that high pitched whine that increases with higher RPM's. I had someone in the know check it out.

It looks like I might be able to get one for about $178 from my job and do it myself. Although I have never replaced one before.

I only have 40k on my truck so this is a bummer. Started hearing it as I drove way from the training.

Look at my truck...warranty...ha! That would be some fight. It does have an extended warranty, but I just don't even want that hassle.

I am going to change the fluid. There might be a chance it's water in the fluid.

I used my extended warranty yesterday, replaced the temp/compass gauge with a new unit.

$50 deductible and I was on my way (Toyota Platinum warranty 100,000 mile/10 year via Toyota Extra Care).

Use your warranty dude!
