Here is the most recent addition to my collection...Still trying to find her history but I believe her to be a 1986-8 camel 110 defender with a 200tdi conversion done...this truck runs absolutely great and the pseudo restoration has begun....chassis is rust free but the door frames are pretty beat...all of the original stuff has been ordered and I intend to make this a world wide traveller...Ireland here we come onto Scotland and the rest of Europe and then home with me to Australia....this one will go with me to the grave...:)

Here's my new to me 97 SE7. Just picked it up on the 23rd:

Has 122XXX miles on it, with a top end rebuild being completed about 10K miles ago. Spent the last week renewing all the fluids (diffs, t-case, motor oil, atf, and brake) and sorting the CEL that was popping up. Took care of the P0303, P0300 and p1316 codes that were being thrown by changing out the plugs to some champion 318's and replacing the recent set of 7mm generic plug wires to a set of 8mm kingsborne plug wires. Got the smog taken care on on Friday, registration was sorted on Saturday. Took the truck for its first trip to the dirt at the San Gabriel OHV area just north of Azusa here in socal.

I saw you in the OHV area up in Azusa Canyon on Sunday. I was in my D90 heading towards the east fork to the bridge to nowhere. I stopped to have a look at the trucks that were wheeling and I spotted your Disco and a group of 80 series land cruisers. Nice truck you have.

Haha.. nice to be spotted first time out. Truck is stock atm. That will change here soon hopefully. First on the list is to find a good deal on a rack as a all of our stuff wont fit inside the truck. Wife and 2 kids make bringing everything and the kitchen sink a must..

NCLR Club 10/2011

NCLR (Northern California Land Rover) Club annual event at Hollister Hills 10/2011. Great fun meeting new people with the LR disease and hitting some trails to test out the rigs.

NC plates

Nice rig. I see you have NC plates on the truck. Were you guys in uwharrie? I have my 109 in Fayetteville and have never seen another series around.

Ncrover725, I've seen your rig around Fayetteville, it looks great! My fiance's family lives there (Army). Have you ever done the All American Trail off Plank road?
