Your fabrication skills and thought process is amazing!

Thanks man.

We got a little bit of snow yesterday and i really wanted to test this thing. So i hooked up the trailer and shift down to first. For whatever reason i could only get down to third gear. Also the clutch was slipping a bit. So i adjusted it all the way out, but it already was almost out to the max. I said **** it and started driving. At some point i thought now the transmission is hot maybe i can shift down now. So i shifted all the way up the sixth and suddenly i only could get down to fifth. This is where the filming started. Even in fith it runs really great, has a lot of torque out of idle and steering requires almost no force. Really fun to ride.
After i had to start on a incline the clutch completely let go. Luckily this happend now where i had access with my car.

Here`s the vid:

And the rescue:

It leaves a nice track:

And now i`m going to take a look what`s wrong with the transmission.

Looks fun!

Any plans for an anti wheelie system? Looks like the front end goes skyward easily with some throttle.

I`m going to build something like that, but not quite sure how...

Bought some steel and a trailer lighting setup:

Had to shorten it a bit:

Finished:

Drilled the skis for the mounts:

This is how i want to carry them:

Fabricated the mounts:

Wanted to replace the clutch discs today:

Looks like i burned then pretty hard:

Unfortunately the steel discs are worn too. Need to replace them too:

So i stopped and made some tie down points for the trailer:

We got a little bit of snow today so i thought i could repair the clutch on the motodog:

Wanted to put in the stiffer springs i bought, but i shouldn`t have:

Luckily i had a spare part from the second clutch:

Drove in front of the shop to pick up the trailer:

Ready to ride:

Had my helmet cam with me but something went wrong, so no video this time:

Drove around about 3miles, works really great. Also found out that i was in second or third on the previous video, was in first for the first time today. It`s really nice geared and a really slow gear. Perfect for manuvering around. Was mostly in second and third today, didn`t want to go faster because it`s just not enough snow and a pretty rough ride.

Also noticed that the track get`s abused a lot, but shouldn`t be a problem:

Glad to see you making good progress on the Motodog Steinez. Maybe we will get some snow this weekend? Cheers, Chilli..:)

I hope so, but i don`t really think it`ll happen...

Did some testing with the anti-wheelie-device and it works like it`s supposed to:
