My friend joe and I getting ready at 5:30am to travel the north end of the foresrty trunk road from Grande Prairie alberta to Goodwin corner to Muskeg corner the back to Grande Prairie via Hwy 40 , mid august was 4deg c in the morning and plus 27 when we got back to Grande Prairie. Both bikes are 1998 dr650se. this trip was done in 2011. I have since moved to Medicine Hat in Feb 2013 and look forward to some new adventures in the south.

Just bought a 2012 Suzuki DRZ400 S:

I'd like to add:

Pirelli XCMH tires (no idea on sizes)
Rimlock on rear wheel. (no idea what size yet)
Taller Protaper SE ATV mid bars (stock are way too low)
TrailTech X2 light/ number plate (white)
Black Acherbis plastic and white side plates. (I keep OEM plastic on the wall, easier to sell that way)
Fender elimninator and tail light
Unibiker Radiator guards
Better skid plate. (No idea! Help?)
MRD SSR pipe (next year maybe)


My Honda CRF450r:

I'd like to try some fresh Maxxis SI or other soft compound tires on the Honda. (slick roots and rocks)

I just picked up a 13' KLX250S. near instantly added guards, skids, rack, exhaust, intake and jetted! love this bike. 218mi. ended up talking my buddy into getting an 07' version of the bike that was already jetted, exhaust, and some other goodies. big plans for a summer trip.
