Starting the all Bronco thread!!! Post'em!

'78 a truck '96 an SUV
the 78 are very simple ... no nothing they did come with AC from the factory and a radio thats it.
another big difference is the fact the 78/79 had a solid front Dana 44 axel...
Done long trips in my 78 and long trips in a 90... after 300 miles knew I was driving a truck...
Am starting to build another 78/79 this time using a 4BT will not be putting a back seat in it but will be building the back into storage ...

How do you like the 96 compared to the 78? I'm sure the comfort difference is noticeable, but what else?

It's night and day. Having a Fuel injected 351 compared to the carb'd 400....it even starts in the cold!

Suspension is much more compliant. Goes down the road a ton nicer. Better amenities, comfort, fit and finish.

I do miss the 78 though.

Here's my 75' it's my daily driver/ project vehicle, custom built long arms, just built adjustable coil buckets for the front, 4.5" suspension, 1" body lift, full width hp Dana 44 8 lug knuckle out, Dana 60 rear, posi rear, and soon locked front and rear, 35x12.50x17 ssr's, stretched wheelbase 4 1/2"s, 302 carb'd, np435, dana 20, next is a 4bt, nv4500 and np205. The last three pics are from when it still had halfton axles under it
