No, no, NO! It has to be mounted as a receiver hitch, on the back. That way, someone can drive and Stroker Explosion (Mark) can ride outa deuce. Or, the driver can back out to the edge of a cliff and the dumper can let one fly into a canyon. Seat belt optional.

Some minor updates from the Inc X facility;

PA_JERO stopped by and took some of my stockpile of top notch premium quality dirt, this allowed me to get more parking back the Sugar Shack (unofficial name of compound x) after moving some cars around I pulled the 4D55 out of the white truck for a good bath, some new seals, and hoses. Next I'll roll the 4x4 chassis into the shop and drop the engine and trans onto it. Hopefully this week Toasty and I can set up the A-frame he's been dreaming up to lift the cab off my truck. Ah... progress.

Looking for that thing i just had in my hand...
Last weekend of this month, some dudes are heading up Thursday and others Friday. I'm planning on leaving Friday but my realtor called me up all excited like "hey we might move closing up to the 28th!" That could throw a wrench into my operation, so anyone not going camping can come help me move so that i might make Saturday.

Well, went out wheeling this past weekend. We killed a 2010 titan in the FAR back woods of Table Mesa. The offroad recovery guy couldnt get it out and suggested to insurance company that we air lift it out. Montero made it just fine though......sort of.

Long story short the Monty wont accelerate past 25 miles an hour. It did fine on the way back from Table mesa at 75mph but today its pretty much done putting up with me. Transmission is shifting but it is pretty erratic. lol. Needless to say I wont have time to wait for a 4m40 and will be going to the junkyard this sunday to pull a 3.5. I will take pictures along the way and hopefully within a week shes back on the road again with some more power this time.

Now I need a winch. Im going to spend some time on the recovery subforum for the next week and learn what I can.

Madness for sure. I will try to post pics but last time I tried it was sent to a moderator for approval and I never heard anything. As of right now I have about a $5000.00 shopping list for when my tax refund comes.

It was fun, The Monty handled it, but it was too much for stock lol

Titan...when will they learn? What's up with this "won't accelerate past 25" stuff? Why? Any details? Symptoms?

So many questions.

And, Toasty, just stop moving already!

This is the last time for like 10 years i swear, i learned a few things and did it right this time. No i didn't buy the house with the 7 car garage, nor the one with his and her garages or the one with a detached shop for that matter. I bought the one that was a good house for having homies over and good for being a nice place to live. Although it's not the most awesome place to build a ton of projects i realized that having less projects makes them turn out better faster. Plus now that i only have room for 4 cars i won't end up with 7 again. 2015 was the year i realized i have a problem and that i can't just buy all the neglected Mitsubishis and put them back on the road for little or no money in return. It's time to get the Montero back in action and better than ever, I've got a solid plan, a DD and a wheeler to get me by.
