You finally going to break away from work and head on down? Remember, you need to set everyone's expectations low since this is going to be long term work for you now... and don't you worry... The Thetford needs a good cleaning.
At least until tomorrow. I ran out of light while picking the truck up this evening.
That's pretty much all your going to get until next weekend anyway, but I'll get you something.

Here are a couple small improvements I've made in the last couple months but have not added yet:
No Loss Valve Caps
Fantastic little things that make airing down that much easier. I have no idea what took me so long to get them. They should come with the Staun tire deflators.
Flip-Pac Bedding straps
I made these by reusing the buckles from the fridge tie-down straps I replaced and using some webbing I had. Due to the nature of the Flip-Pac design anything you want to stay put when you close-up needs to be secured to the lid/roof. These straps allow us to keep the bedding in place and help secure the 2" memory foam I added.
Now onto the mentioned wiring from the weekend. Here's a shot of the new fuse block located at the drivers-side front of the bed. Wires come through a previously used hole that was drilled through the floor of the bed. A rubber grommet helps to seal out the elements. Eventually this fuse block will be enclosed in a bench, but will remain accessible should a fuse need replacing. There are some clues present in the picture to some of the future goodies that will be included with the interior.

It's secured with screws through the bedside. there is a large gap between the actual bed and what you see on the outside.

How did you end up attaching the straps to the roof of the flip-pac? Been contemplating something like this for mine.

Right now the straps just wrap around the mattress, so they can only support as much weight as the Velcro on the back of the mattress will handle. That may change after I get to try it out with the two person sleeping bag I plan on buying. If I need more support, I will look into adding anchors of some sort. The mattress itself is the new model that is now supplied with the Flip-Pac. It's a pretty comfortable mattress, but my wife wanted a little more padding. I added 2" memory foam and covered them both with a waterproof mattress cover to keep the peace. I'm sure you could order one from FRP and probably get it within the next couple years. :coffeedrink:

Rendezvous Conspiracy
7424 Trade st Sandiego there is a cabinet type supply company there and they carry Baltic birch and all other woods. If I can think of the name I will post it up. It is right next to LMA North America to their right side in the back buildings. I think the cross st is Distribution, off of Mira Mar rd.
