Nice progress today, finally installed the rear skid. I've still got a healthy list of things to do, and hope to wrap it up tomorrow.

Here's the blank skid after powder coat

Wow that is such a sano install. Very clean. If that tank is 20gal, looks like you could easily get a 30gal installed in the same spot.

Thanks fellas!!!!! There isn't an interior access, just the quick disconnects & air chuck in the rear bumper. I'll have some detailed pics tomorrow. If anything needs to be serviced, it takes a floor jack and 5 minutes to lower the whole unit.

Thanks. There's a body rib directly in front of where I have the tank mounted, so a larger tank could be used but it would need to be shorter to clear the body. Or.... Make the skid hang down lower, this setup has a 3" drop.

I'm so impressed with your builds!
Previous to seeing these, I could care less about the F vans and never thought of them as anything of serious consideration.

You really exploited the potential and made a very cool product. I really want one...

Thanks, keep playin & then you can have both!

I got all excited when I saw this until I realized that my '78 happens to have a fuel tank right where this all fit...

Yep, that causes a little problem...
