Anybody that's using a truck bed tent have a portable, folding step? My other half seems to have trouble with her not-so-long legs getting in and out of our Sportz bed tent. I'm leaning toward a Stromberg S-100 step (about $60). Looking for something that's relatively light weight, sturdy...

Ha! I actually did check that......it's a stupid engineer thing I guess.....but yes, actually it does turn off right before the lid closes all the way down :D.

Just got back from a 10-day vacation and the light's still working like a champ, I'm amazed at how well it works considering what it cost......I'm going to say I can definitely recommend it. I think it would be ideal for the underside of storage compartment lids as well.

So far, it's just used when we go on camping trips that involve no off-road........but an ARB in the rear and some KM2's are a probability in the near future :)! I did grab another Engel Posi-Fit plug from Wil to put in it, so now the Engel is easily swapped between the two trucks......that...

Even with beadlocks I have to use my highlift to break the bead. It usually takes three spots to break them off the bead. I also typically spray the tire bead down with a soap/water solution. I go util the truck's almost off the ground, then drop the jack and rotate the wheel 1/3 and do it...
