I wouldn't bet money on it. But here's to hoping.

Pic is from the last get your hopes up concept.

I don't know if I like the truck concept in your link. I feel like a TJ Brute Style truck would be awesome though.

The silver one is more like it. The red one is hideous. A four door version for the win.

I do like the tires, steel wheels and dog dish hubcaps on the red one, though.

I actually really like this one but its just a concept. As much of a chance getting this one as getting the Mighty FC.

Allpar has reported it as confirmed for end of 2017. I don't think it will be anything like the Gladiator concept above. I'm hoping for a 4 door like the JK Brute but I don't think that's likely either.

I think something like this is most likely but who knows?

What I find interesting is the Africa concept has a 12" longer body allowing the spare tire to mount underneath instead of on the tailgate. Gets you thinking.

Unfortunately, this is what I expect from FCA.

I guarantee this truck will not be the AEV Brute that everyone is hoping for. Plus, if that is what you want then go buy one...they're already available like that. I promise they're better than anything FCA will conjure up anyways.

This is what caught my eye:

Marchionne added that the pickup should launch late-2017 after the next generation Wrangler rolls out which, he said, is 'phenomenal'.

“The car is done, the car is designed and it’s been engineered, so we just need to get off our butts to start producing,” he said. "It's the best thing we've ever made. The design won’t see a drastic change, in order to keep the SUV true to its historical DNA and instantly recognizable."

“It’s a phenomenal vehicle. It cures all the ills, whatever few ills the old Wrangler had. And I’ve think we’ve updated design without hurting its history which is really, really important to us.”
