Allpar has reported it as confirmed for end of 2017. I don't think it will be anything like the Gladiator concept above. I'm hoping for a 4 door like the JK Brute but I don't think that's likely either.

I do like the tires, steel wheels and dog dish hubcaps on the red one, though.

The retro concept is called the J-12. It looks like the tires are retro 36" bias ply tires. Maybe Cokers? Not sure the width. Sweet look though!

What I find interesting is the Africa concept has a 12" longer body allowing the spare tire to mount underneath instead of on the tailgate. Gets you thinking.

I really love the Brute that AEV builds...better styling for a jeep pickup IMO

Unfortunately, this is what I expect from FCA.

I guarantee this truck will not be the AEV Brute that everyone is hoping for. Plus, if that is what you want then go buy one...they're already available like that. I promise they're better than anything FCA will conjure up anyways.
