Yes, it is still off the truck. I have thought about putting it back on for more control on the road, but I like having the extra inch+ off road

Gear Deck Completed... and a few other additions

The entire upper area can now be used for storage, and I have also added a new Engel fridge slide
The table on top of the fridge is now plated with galvanized steel sheeting so I can cook inside in inclement weather if need be, and I added eye bolt tie downs all around so I can secure chairs and other light camp gear on the decks.
My chairs fit perfectly here
The deck doubles as a shelf when slid out for kitchen use, and I plan to use the eye bolts as attachment points for the deck to double as a table when attached to the swingout... stay tuned :ylsmoke:

Camper First Aid Kit
I added a small first aid kit in the camper by mounting a small sheet of aluminum behind the light box, using the same screws the box uses, and making it long enough to hang down for the first aid kit. The kit attaches to the aluminum via 4 inch velcro strips so it is removable if needed.

Camper Fire Extinguisher
I will be adding two of these, one small 1lb one up front in the cab for instant acces, and the larger 2.5lb one mounted in the camper for camp duty. One thing I have noted as I research fire extinguishers is that most locally available Kidde and other brands have horrible mounting brackets that are not good enough to be used in a vehicle, the H3R brand seems to have REAL mounting brackets and that was a major factor for me. Having these on board will greatly increase fire safety.
I prefer the ABC variants vice the B,C rated ones because the A rating gives me some ability to douse camp fires or embers if they get out of control.

Looks awesome Doc. I love seeing how it all comes together from the planning stages all the way to making the last pieces fit.

The long quick fist clamps make for some secure extinguisher mounts too. I think Sierra Exped has them on sale too. Just a thought. Those H3R set-ups look slick, but what's the cost?

Thanks man, it has been a long road.
The rear is holding up great, hardly ANY sag fully loaded down with the OME Dakars w/extra leaf and Nitrochargers. Very happy overall with the way this handles, compared to my rack (which felt top heavy at times) you hardly know the 'Pac is back there. I will be putting the front sway bar back on the truck at some point to regain a little tighter feel up front when on road.

11 inches total. (10+ about 1 inch for the aluminum struts that fold out and attach to the fenders when the tent is deployed)
I made a decal that I put on the visor that says "7.5 HT" - that way I know at a glance when looking at a drive through or parking garage if I am too tall to make it safely or not.
7 foot 6 inches leaves me some head room so as long as the overhead obstacle is at least that tall I have a couple inches to spare
It will fit in my garage if I let the air out of the tires :snorkel:
