I just stumbled onto this amazing video. I have no idea how it was shot, but I suspect it was with a GoPro Hero3 because of the quality of the slow motion footage....well, that and the fact that they were through paint and water at the camera :) This is a really awesome bit of cinematography:

Iceland

4 days in Iceland. We went from springtime in Denmark, to winter conditions in northern Iceland. As we went further south in Iceland, we got to experience their spring as well.

not mine video but I have been following his channel for a long time.. best kind of overlanding video.. none of that pretentious stuff, just a shaky home video showing guys on an adventure.. make sure you see all 3 parts!

I just got a Ram suction cup to mount my camera to, so I made this video playing around with it. It locks pretty solidly to anything even somewhat smooth. Tons of possibilities for sticking it to a vehicle body, it even stuck to a smooth piece of wood!

Wow, I am really impressed by that little video! Great editing, forethought in camera positions and driving routes, etc... Really well done. And yeah, that mounts seems solid. Post of a photo of your whole camera rig.

The Canon T1i doesent have manual video control so the neutral density filter tricks the camera into shooting with a wide open aperture for a shallow depth of field

I used this Manfrotto 502 fluid head for the pans

Those brought back some memories.
I drove in there in the summer in my dead-stock Wrangler, further in than he goes in part 3. It wasn't quite so wet, but there were quite a few crossings.
I hiked into the bus when I couldn't drive any further (swamp, eventually)

I know plenty of people that have cross-country skied and hiked into the bus, though I've never seen anyone 4x4 to it in the winter. Very cool.

Current Ice Climbing Conditions in Munising Michigan

We shot a teaser video ahead of the Michigan Ice Festival at the end of the month. One-day turn around (started filming at sunrise, posted to Youtube by 9pm) so we kept it short & sweet.
