No radio yet - will probably get a dual band HT to start, followed by a mobile for my 4runner (Yaesu FT-7900.)

Took technician exam Sat (passed)

Tues am checked the FCC to find I'm now: KK4DPX

Will be picking up a radio in the near future since I've found a HRO store not too far from where I live, will be a nice project to instal in the truck.

Took the test this morning and passed the Technician test.

Will check the FCC ULS database for my call sign by Tuesday.

In meantime, let me make a ham sandwich and celebrate (smile).

Congrats!
I hope to be posting I passed next month.
Now back to reading my Technician book, or perhaps a nap.
Muggy lazy day...

"Vehicle":1997 Isuzu Rodeo w/4WD.
(A real "vehicle" has NO non-commercial purpose/use)!!!
No "permanently" mounted radios/antennae (yet).
Still need to buy a mount for my 10m "rig" a power cord, the mounting knobs and antenna/mount/coax.
I also want to buy a HF rig and mount/use it from the "car".
I'll most likely use my dual band mag NMO mount for 2m/70cm, and my Wouxun HT (IF I ever get it back from Cheapham.com)!
