While this may be true, none of the above will have the articulation of solid front and rear axles like on the Wrangler.
There’s a lot more to off-roading than flex

Where are you seeing that high of payload for an F150? That's one ton truck category.

Don't forget the extra screen above it that shows you which direction your wheels are pointed, lol.In 2018 you can't buy a vehicle without a video game dash board. Our base 2017 Forester (and I mean base, zero options, stick shift) has a video screen and that's because the government mandates vehicles have back up cameras.
That must be some sort of canadian conversion gone wrongHere's the ad I'm talking about. Note, how pictured, is a crew cab, which definitely cannot haul 3,000 lb...

Maybe the dealer just wanted to try and sell you a new Jeep 'today', lol...For those like me who have been waiting to see the 3.0 diesel in a Jeep....I stopped in at the Reno Jeep dealer a week ago and asked if they had an update on when to expect the diesel engine. The sales manager told me they'd just had an update and earliest expected date is now 2021.......apparently the battles with the EPA are not over yet.

I'm only afraid that the good axles will only be available in a $60k Rubi version. Like the wrangler.
I considered waiting for a Jeep Rubicon pickup. My main concerns were price and payload, so I looked around a little and found a new Ram Tradesman Power Wagon. Sticker on the Ram Tradesman Power Wagon was $51k, so I got it for about $45k out the door. It still doesn't have the best payload rating, but I am more than happy to get 3/4 ton hardware at 1/2 prices...
For those that don't know, the Tradesman Power Wagon is basically a base model Ram 2500 with the Power Wagon equipment package. It's a good deal as long as you don't need leather seats and a 20" video display...
The Pics have been released.
