This is the present set up. I have my eyes open for a 4.8 or 6.0. I'm not sure which part of my brain will take over!!! Huge power or more fuel efficiency?

That looks fantastic!
I am going to repower my '05 LJ Rubicon in the next year or so. I was VERY close to going with a Gen IV 4.8. They actually make excellent power and torque. The dyno sheets (GM) are available on line. They apparently can yield 22-24mpg in a TJ. However, the total cost of the changeover in $, time and aggravation is not worth it for my situation. I will be building a stroker out of my original block. But for a Series, the 4.8 would be my first choice.

Both of my 1991 RRC's had land rover badges front and rear. Just saying.
All of them do. Around 09-10 they just had black badges for a while. Apparently they thought it was hip.

Maybe all the NAS trucks did. But on the ROW trucks long before they imported to the US it seems to have been hit or miss or maybe only before and after a certain year. Or even maybe only certain dealerships. My 84 didn't and I didn't remember any other early vehicles I had seen having them. But if tacr2man had a 72 with a badge then its possible the very 1st ones had something. Maybe it was something similar to the pic of the green 2dr Australian one with a stick on oval or maybe it was a proper badge. I don't know as I've never seen one on an early truck like I said.
After the change to the horizontal plastic grill they seem to have put them on some (not all) of the front grilles at least and at some point they put them on the back tailgate as well. But that was 20+ years after it was released.

Thats the one they had the silver Oval with "By Land Rover" with the "Z "mark between Land and Rover like on Land Rover front badges eg the green Aussie 2 door I had the exact same vehicle in Oz for a couple of years (IIRC a 1980) ( In 92 untill the wife chopped down 3 trees with it !!) and that had the badge on as well . They were made of a thin aluminum with black printing . Later on they had a green oval designed like , and similar size as the front clip on for the defender grill .

Look at the pic of the green one with the YVB 151H plate on it. I might be wrong but I am fairly sure that is one of the press vehicles from the release where they let the press run about with them for a while, take lots of photos, etc. I'll see if I can find a shot of the back as I am fairly sure it doesn't have that badge on. have never seen that badge in the UK before. My point being that if Land Rover wanted to associate the RR with the LR name then those vehicles it used as press demonstrators for the release would sure as hell have had LR badges on them. Maybe it was an Oz thing?

Vogue was a model name used in Europe. Kind of like Hunter or County in the US. It was used to denote the higher trim levels. 'En Vogue' was I think the original use but it became Vogue and then as the truck continued to go even further up market they added the Vogue SE as the highest trim level.
Edit - OK, found a site with the original brochures. Looks like the by Land Rover badge wasn't just an Oz thing and the UK trucks had it too at release. They deleted it in 73 though.

I know the steering wheel on mine had Range Rover on it. Like this one.

Yes it looks like YVB 1xxH were the press cars and pre-production models.
YVB 153H seems to always have the by LR badge but YVB 151H (in some places referred to as Chassis #1, but I can't confirm) sometimes does and sometimes doesn't. YVB 150H which still has the Velar badge on the front has it as well but I can't get the pics.
I guess the point here is that LR couldn't make up their mind if it was a LR or not. For the first 3 years they put a badge on them pronouncing their heritage but then they took it off. They left it off until about the mid/late 80s and then it slowly crept back. Most of the LRNA models seem to have it but UK trucks of the same or later vintage don't always.
The last pic is interesting. It claims to be the 1st model of the RR. Or maybe a model of the 1st RR, it's not clear. It is based on YVB 151H supposedly. Anyway, it doesn't say LR on it. I am sure that it had to be approved by LR and the missing badge again questions LRs intent as to whether the RR is really a LR.

definition. the soccer mom, who's husband makes way to much money. It has never, nor will it ever see dirt, or even gravel for that matter. He likes to look at Rovers gone past and dream of going to the amazing places they went. He knows he will never make it but he makes sure every few years his wife gets a new one.
