Just wondering what you did with your old parts? I'd be interested in the following parts if you still have them.

1. Left horn button from old steering wheel.
2. Passenger side headlight
3. Driver side amber turn signal
4. Trim piece below front head lights (left and right side)

--Yubert

I've sold some things already, but I do have the...

-Left Horn Button
-Left and Right Side Trim Pieces

If you want to, just PM me an offer for them and I'll give you my PayPal.

um....okay

The entire thing is not made of metal. There is rubber, or some type of equivelent involved.

I'll cut to the chase. You'll be pouring through the spout and the next thing you'll see/smell is gas leaking through those metal rings.........I learned the hard way.

So how did your Super Siphon fail?

Gotta take the bad with the good... hey, I think that is the easiest trail repair I've ever witnessed... although it did take a little while... :coffeedrink:

I'll refrain from the "(insert Rover joke here)" for fear of being chased out of the Landie section.

Can't wait for the next trip! :)

Nope, no sensor issues...the alcohol was used to clean the top driver side corner of the radiator (top of side tank) it sprung a pinhole leak at some point on the trip their or when we were running the trails earlier we got out to check the descent and some ominous rock ledges, smelled coolant double checked the temp guage and noticed it had just started to rise...we got lucky we stopped to check or we probably would have had major issues if we hadn't noticed the temp guage till the idiot light came on. (if it has one). We had to wait for it to cool down, cleaned it with alky and stole some J.B. Weld from a certain good samaritan. Then we had to wait for it to harden/cure. As far as I know its still holding, although I believe Chris ordered a new radiator this last paycheck. J.B. Weld and friends having J.B. Weld to use ****** :)

Oh and It's Not Broke...Its BRITISH :p

Come on, you know you wanted to say it Leary :)

Pulled the radiator, fixed the pinhole leak that caused the problem shown in Mr. Leary's picture by having the tank replaced, also while the radiator is out I'm getting rid of the junk thermostat setup. :sombrero:

Interesting. I've seen mention of this. Unfortunately, I bought a new Tstat already waiting to go in.

Yeah, three or four others have already done this type of conversion with great results. Makes sense.
