The plugs are too deep for that swivel socket to be useful. Except for maybe helping you get the whole thing in without having to take apart your tools.. I found that I didn't need a swivel at all.

Personally, I think the head rest in the middle rear seat obstructs the rear view more than anything. I also think it blocks light from the auto-dimming mirror. Thanks for all the pictures guys.

I just picked up an 06 LR3 SE for 14,900 two weeks ago. Right now the only issue is that the High/Low switch isn't working. Even if that takes $1000 to sort out, I think it is a good deal. It's already beating the pants off my 95 Disco I in fuel mileage.

I ordered some quickfists from Cabelas. Will try to get a picture up once I get them and install.

Probably should be more specific. I want to mount it on the interior of the rear door. I drive in an urban area most of the time, and do not want my equipment stolen.
