A few pictures from a thread on the Indian Team-BHP forum; they're in a long thread someone wrote about his Mahindra Marshal. This link is from the current last page of the thread, he's told the story of this Jeep for many pages before the page in this link: https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/4x4-vehicles/127716-our-marshal-di-4x4-ngcs-23.html if you're interested in the whole story.

My wife and I are still talking about bringing a Mahindra Savari over to the US and putting it on an LJ frame and mechanicals. It's a longer body and longer overhang than the Marshal in my most recent post so even better as an overlander.I Love this!! This would be the true Land Rover Jeep we all want. Longer rear overhang, higher ceiling. Sign me up!

What years were they manufactured? My wife and I are still talking about bringing a Mahindra Savari over to the US.
The Savari was produced from sometime in the late 80's or early 90's (I believe) up until about 2010. The first versions were had full bodies but around 2005 Mahindra offered a removable top version and options included a full soft top and a removable hardtop. What years were they manufactured?
One they're 15 years old I could bring one into Canada whole. Hmm.

Let's check the specs... from the book pages I posted above, the 4wd Savari kerb weight is 1770 kg (3902 lbs.) and it's powered by a 4-cylinder diesel generating 59 horsepower and 150 nm of torque (110 ft. lbs.)I'm thinking that the 4.0 would be straining with that heavy of a body.
